What is the difference between a 1500 Mega and a 2500 Mega cab?
As far as the two trucks I'm looking at with Hemi's and automatics, both have 3:73's with the 10.5 rear, both have GRAWR of 6010lbs, GVWR is also 290 lbs less on the 1500, but the 2500 is rated to tow 1000 lbs more. What gives???

A number on the door. Other than that they are identical, one is just licensed for less GVW for registration and insurance purposes.
Some say they have different rate springs and leafs in them but I haven't seen any proof of that yet.

Do me a favor ramhunter, next time you're out by your truck count how many springs you have in your rear packs. Not including any helper or add-a-leafs. I've heard that the 1500's have 4 springs and the 2500's have 5. Sure enough, mine has 4.
