Default The proper way to tint a sedan?

This is something I can't seem to get a straight answer on.

Some people tell me to do tint on all windows including windshield, some people tell me to do no tint on windshield, around 25-30% on front side windows, and 20% on rear side/rear windows, I see a lot of different variations on cars. What is the right way to do it?

the right way to do it is how you want, legally.
if you want to do them the same go for it
but cheak your local laws for the correct numbers,
