you can buy LED bulbs to install, but will have to have a and on piece to make your flashers thing you are still using full juice or they will not work properly.

Be careful when doing this. It is illegal to modify your tail lights/signal lamps in most states, and it is enforced quite heavily in some areas.
I know several members of my car club here in WI have had problems with the law concerning tail lamps modified with LEDs. Just a heads up

My cousin is doing it to his car, he already has aftermerket tail lights, and no problems yet... so I dont think there will be with LEDs...

I just tinted my tails, and a cop said to me, the only way i could get introuble is if im a dick to the cop or if sum1 accuses me when they hit me saying "i couldn't see his lights" but, i checked mine and you can see fine

No one really cares as long as a red light appears when you hit the brakes...
I plan to convert my center bar within the next few months...
Almost forgot, those LEDs are clear when no energy is going through them.
