I know the bumper reinforment will have to be changed or modified but the main issue is whether or not I can fit the headlights in the fender. I dont mind doing cutting it is just the shape of the headlights. Anyone try this. Im trying to get a hold of an OEM 02+ headlight and fit it in my fender. Im having trouble finding a 99 sport front bumper but have found many 02+ plastic covers that is why I am thinking about the conversion. I also need headlights so it is no big deal buying the 02+ ones. Thanks

 

I was wondering the same thing, but thinking more of the entire front assembly, including 3rd gen fenders, hood, bumper, headlights, rear bumper, and tail lights.

They're fairly cheap aftermarket, you could do the entire front end for under $500 bucks if you have the ability to paint it yourself.

From what I can see, the frame and mounting points are REALLY close, possibly even identical, I haven't found anyone who knows for certain what the differences are under the body panels. Let me know what you come up with, I'd appreciate the info!
