I am tuning up my dakota sport and forgot to memorize the plug wire from dist cap to plugs. I don't want to mess up the truck and need to know the proper placement of wires to plugs. please help if anyone can.

The firing order for your 2.5 is 1-3-4-2 going clockwise on the distributor cap. The #1 terminal is marked on the top of the distributor cap. The cylinders are numbered 1 through 4 from the front of the engine to the rear.
