I want to replace my cat with a high flow cat has anyone heard anything about this? Jegs said they have one for my application. just wondering if it will mess anything up?

 

You can get a high flow cat pretty cheap..around a $150-$250. It just depends on where you buy it from. I like my exhaust with no cats(sounds very mean=) )

local muffler shop here in michigan told me don't mess with cats,because hemi cats are already high flow anyway/ they claim you'll waste your money.the guy does a lot of headers race car exhausts turbo's etc seems to know his stuff.

 

As far as I know your cat should not be robbing you of much HP, the cat is pretty straight through. I know for my neon the high flow cat gives me another 1 hp, for a hemi, its might be 3-4HP.
