brake lights don't work

Default brake lights don't work

i have a 1978 dodge magnum xe... and there is a problem with the brake lights... when i push the brake the interior light on the drivers side door comes on[&:]... nothings been changed in the car... it just doesn't make since... if anyone has suggestions or knows anyone who owns cordobas, chargers, magnums from 75-79... let me know...

Sounds like its a short in the system

on the older mopars they put brake lights and dash lights on the same fuse. so if you dont have dash lights and brake lightsyou might have a blown fuse.
