Default Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid

My 01 Ram 2500 at low speed cycles back and fourth between overdrive and drive. I took it to the shop and had the run a diagnostic test. Here is what they came up with
1. Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid needs replaced
2. Transducer need replaced
and
3. bellcrank sensor need repaced.
all at the cost of $1500 dollars.

My first question is does this sound like the correct fix?
I'm hoping to save a little money and do it myself. I have farily good mechanicalknow how (I built and maintain my own race car)
Is this something i can do myself?
and What is the Transducer and what does it do?
