I've got an 01 dakota sport, V6, 2wd ext cab, automatic. When I start my truck the windshield wipers go once and then stop; my head lights come on as soon at the truck is started; the dome light stays on; the brake, gate and door ajar lights stay on; and the brights won't come on. If I pull the key a little, all of the dummy lights turn off and the windshield wipers start going in med speed. I looked at the ignition and made sure all the contacts were clean and making good contact. I haven't taken it to the dealer yet and there are no codes. I looked at the haynes electrical diagrams and can't find a common link. Thank in advance for any help.

 

Check ALL your grounds, once weird stuff happens generally there a faulty ground. Good luck with this one man
