HEY ALL .. I'M NEW TO THE FORUM.. HAVE READ A BUNCH OF STUFF.. SEEMS LIKE A GREAT PLACE FOR INFO.. I NEED YOUR HELP..JUST PURCHASED A 99 1500 QUAD CAB LONG BED 5.2.. LOVE IT.. JUST ONE PROBLEM.. THE COMPASS ISN'T WORKING, READS SOUTH AND HAS A CAL UNDER IT.. THINK IT MEANS CALIBRATE BUT NOT SURE??? ALSO THE CLOCK IS WRONG.. NO OWNERS MANUAL CAME WITH IT.. PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW TO RESET THE COMPASS AND CLOCK AS WELL AS MPG.. WHEN I HIT THE RESET BUTTON IT JUST CHANGES THE MODE.. YOUR HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.........

 

if i recall correctly you need to hold the buttons in to reset it. its been awhile but i will see what i can find out fro sure in a day or so when ican

 

also if you want a book call the dealer they can give you the number to get one its about 5 to 10 bucks and if you want the service manuel its about 50 i think
