I’m working on a project to joystick control a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500. The accelerator pedal is electronically controlled. I thought the signal would be driven by potentiometers and the output would be a voltage value, but it doesn’t seem to be that easy. I would try powering the pedal up to see what outputs it sends, but I’m afraid of shorting something or causing it to fail. Does anyone know the pin outs for the accelerator pedal and what type of signal it sends? Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.
