EVAP!!!!
[align=left]
Ok so I've had an EVAP leak for quite a while and can't seem to get rid of it. I even took it to the dealership and they said they don't know what the root of the problem is. I read the code with my programmer and it used to say P0442 then if I waited it would also throw a P0455, now it just goes straight to the P0455 even after replacing the gas cap and clearing the code. I drove the truck around right after I cleared the code and all was good. then I let it sit over night and drove it the next night and with in 5 min of running on came the light. I have modified my intake also with a K&N 77 series, a TB spacer, and a BBK TB could any of those parts be causing it? I was going to take a few off and see if it helped. Any adivce would be much appreciated. Thankyou.

Check every vacuum hose under the hood. On the drivers side of the engine, between the engine and the fender is a cluster of hoses. There is a cap on a valve where the hoses attach. Make sure that ALL these are in good shape with no cracks. If all of these are good, you need to check all the hoses at the vacuum under the truck on the drivers side. Dakotas are known to have hoses under the truck that crack.
