I need some assistance....has anyone figured out the problem/causes of the P0404 code? I've recently had the EGR valved replaced (by the dealer) and it's been less than a month and the CODE IS BACK!!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Ok, I have some good news concerning the P0404 code. As stated, I have a 2005 RT Magnum, and recently I had a check engine code of P0404. The vehicle was taken to the local Dealer for Diag. They recommended replacing EGR. A less than a month later, check engine light was back on. However, today 22 July 2007, while detailing the engine, I notice that the cold-air intake clamps were loose. I checked each clamp and all could use a few more turns. Shortly after that, I started HER up and check engine light had gone out........... I'll keep a close eye on her for the next few days to see it the code re-appears.
