AS you drive over light bumps to you hear a rattle coming from the front of the vehicle?


well i did... it bothered me to no end... it wasnt any suspension pieces cause they all were tight... but it seemed to be a very loose rattle...

Turns out its a design flaw on dodges part...


if you have this rattle pop your hood.... when you go to lift the hood take a look at your lever.... does it rattle? its the actual lever that rattles..

I made a small bushing for both of the bar supports and my problem is solved.

 

MAybe you should write DC about your fix. They may incorporate it into a TSB or something. Thanks for the info.[sm=smiley20.gif]

 

No, my '01 doesn't have ANY rattles at all, and with 70, + miles on it. Thankfully!
