I'm 15, so I don't drive on the street yet (legally) but the fastest i've ever really been was about 120 in a 1990 firebird with my brother. What got me hooked on mopars are two things: 1) They are ****ing badass, and 2) I was in the backseat of a 69 charger (sweetest car on earth) and we launched, burned the tires for at least a block, getting a little sideways, then got thrown back into the seat with every shift. Fastest I have ever been in a mopar is around 110. It was a '71 Coronet. Sweetest ride of my life. Anyone know the 1/4 mile times on the new Hemi Durango?

In regards to 71ROADRUNNER's comment about the top speed

I stole the heads off of a dodge stealth, thats all
.(also pistons and crankshaft + many other small things)
I was given a speeding ticket from a cop that caugt up!!! that reads
238KPH. The speedo had topped long before. My licence was pulled for six months, About a month later.<----Stupid system EH. I was given a ticket for driving with undue care & Attention. But it was 2am, Who cares!! [:@]

My ford festiva went 135kph on flat ground.
I backed off when the wind almost threw me off the highway.
I do not advise anyone with one of fords deathtraps to speed in it. Its not stable enough at any speed to have to make any quick moves.
(i.e. Changing lanes at freeway speeds)

My Shadow originally came to me from my neighbor 1 year ago. His brother has been working on the 2.5T and 3.0L Shadows since 1992.
The shadow i bought came stock but i had him add on the heads from my friends wrecked stealth. With the heads on it he estimates it to have had close to 200bhp and 225 pounds of torque. We took the internals out of the turbo transmission and put them in the 3.0L's 5-speed, it made for better acceleration and top speed. This my friend is how it made it to such rediculous speeds but at the cost of engine detonation. Now im going to build one from scratch, my way. [sm=smiley20.gif]

Well, my "Shadow" was the 3.0L V6 version and pumped 140bhp and 185 pounds of torque. The thing about the Shadow is that many people underestimate the shadow because it had been branded with that unfortunate 2.2L 4 banger and the 2.5L and 2.5L turbo.

I'm also 15, and got my permit about a month ago. Regarding your question about the Hemi Durango, my mom just got a Limited Hemi, AWD. I have a G-timer and she let me test it out(with her), the durango. 0-60 in 7.5(only tried once, probably could get better) and only got to 80 on the freeway, when she told me to slow it down, so I didn't get a 1/4 time. But this can give you an idea, 0-60 in 7.5, and to 80 in 12.5, so, im guessing a 1/4 would come at about a low to mid 15 @ 90 ish. Hot car tho, I love driving it, I can easily cook most rice, all rice I have raced, consisting of a Celica GT-S, and a VW GTI, as well as some civics. My dad has a '03 Ram Hemi, and it can smoke a lot. Do you have a car in mind, for yourself?
