I have a 4.7 liter in my 04 dodge ram quad cab. I was wondering will it make my engine last or run any better if I use 89 octane. Just wondering if it is anybetter for the engine. Sure this question has been beat to death just got this truck so I am trying to take good care of her.

 

89 octane just has an addtive in it to keep you gas line clean its pretty much just gasline antifreeze but i run it in my sebring to keep everything good and clean so it shouldnt hurt if you want to od something for it try using some lucas tune up in a bottle if you can find it that stuff does wonders haha good luck
