my overdrive is blown it only works when i manually turn off the o/d then while my dash indacater sayso/d off will i have an overdrive gear....my transition from 1st to 2nd gear takes place at 2100 prm and my 2nd to 3rd has a bouncing hesatation if i dont let off it wont drop into gear...i changed my tranny filter..but reused the tranny fluid..it was kinda brown does or will that cause the gear slippage? or should i start to look for a new transmission?

 

First of all you never re-use oil thats old n brown in color. the color transmission fluid is supposed to be is red. It will cause slippage and shifting problems. I suggest you drain or have your transmission flushed n new fluid put into it.
