I have a 1993 Dodge Dakota 3.9L V6 4X4. About 3 mos back I turned a corner and heard a clicking sound underneath, then immediately after started hearing an airy sound, like you would at high rpm's. Now it sounds like this continuously through all gears. The gas mileage has also been affected, I have had to gas up 3 times in the past week and a half. I have replaced plugs, wires, filters, oil, and even used different gas. I am also experiencing not being able to start it sometimes after I have turned it off, usually if I wait awhile (10 to 30 min) it will restart. It seems like these concerns correspond to each other. Does anyone know what the problem might be or have another possibility to try?
