I have a 2004 Ram 1500, Ouad Cab, 2WD with a 4.7. Is there anyone out there that could inlighten me on what the HP, Torque, and Gear Ratio would be. I have look everywhere for the GR with no luck. On the HP and Torque I keep getting different opinions. Can anyone out there narrow it down for me.

i know on the older models like 1960- 1997 they have a little metal tag on the rearend housing where the cover bolts on......it has your gear ratio on it.....also i think it is under the hood on the sticker (also on a 97)

I looked under the hood and know luck, took a quick glance at the houseing but didn't see a sticker.

driver side door jam not the door itself but theres a sticker there it might tell u there

 

the tag on the rear end housing would be metal.......you'll really need to search for it......they might have moved the factory sticker some where else on the newer models....check the glove like ramfan said or.....call the local dodge dealer....i did on my SS/T all they needed was the VIN # on the dash, and they varified that it was an SS/T with 360engine, limited slip.......(even has keyless entry, but some one lost the transmitter before i got it so i didn't know)...
