Can someone help me? I got a check engine light so I read the codes. The first one was a P0622--generator field not switching. The other one was a P1740--tcc or O/D solenoid rationality error.

What I need is information on what exactly these codes are telling me--i.e., what is broken andwhere should I be looking? I was pulling a trailer up a hill when the check engine light came on.
