Default Heater core do it yourself

Can anyone point me toward instructions on how to change out a restricted heater core on a 97 Dakota v8 with air?
An online text would be great, but I'll take anything. I need to do this myself since Christmas is coming and Santa doesnt do Dodge Sleighs. Thanks, and this is my first post so if I completely violated all the rules feel free to whip me into submission.

Default RE: Heater core do it yourself

Not at all. My best suggestion would be to get some type of book to help you, it is a pretty complex job. I know haynes and chilton both make manual and are around $15. It is not that it is a hard job to do, but if I am correct, you have to pull most of the interior dash console to get at the heater core. It should be jamed up in the passenger side dash by the fire wall.
