Default Ram front end / steering wheel vibration

I have a 2002 Ram (DR Platform -very early build) that's been giving me some front end problems recently. I started noticing a vibration about 5 months ago and decided to take it into the dealership. They replaced the lower ball joints, and said the vibration should be gone. Well, at 55-65mph the vibration returned so I decided I must be due for some new tires as I did have about 34,000miles on it. Had some new tires put on....no luck, darn vibration is still there. Dealership said because vibration comes at a certain speed, it must be the tires and to have them double checked for proper balancing. I did this, and still no luck. I assumed (yeah I know) that I must have a bent rim, so I went out and bought a new rim for $200 dollars...and again, no luck. I went back to the place I got my tires and had them rotate the suspect tire and new rim to the back and...again, no change in the front vibration. My power steering is really starting to moan, especially when it's cold, and I'm wondering if that may have something to do with it. I am so frustrated with this truck right now, I'm ready to run it off a cliff....and I'm a DaimlerChrylser EMPLOYEE ! Sorry to make my first post on this great forum website such a complaint, but I really don't know what to do right now. Thanks. Paul

Maybe something in the rack is going bad. Did they inspect that?
