hi, please excuse my typing i'm learning to type right handed, ok heres my question my new 05 hemiram shifts real hard so hard it chirps the tires from first to second, only mods so far is flowmaster duel exhaust, k&n air cleaner, trans is factory stock any 05 owners have this shift problem??? thx Randall

 

took to dealer today dealer installed shift kit before i picked truck up thats why, bought my sister a ram and my parents a new car so they did a few so called tricks to my ram

 

There's a shift kit available for the Hemi rams. Who makes it?

 

i dont have a listing for anything like that...and to be honest..id be AMAZED if mopar made something like that....isnt there a way to "make it shift harder" something with the valve body?

 

Not that I'm aware of. There is some kind of "flash" for it though that the dealers can do. Maybe that's what he's taking about.

 

hmm./..ill ask around about a TCM flash..

 

whatever was done to my ram makes it shift hard, guess i better shut up asked if it voids my warranty they say nope, drove my sisters ram today its same as mine hers shifts slow and whimpy lol

 

hey..i asked about this...hemiram2...is there any chance you can call them and get your flash number?? there should be a label on the rad support...a "flash label", and it will have the flash number on it..theyre required by chrysler to put this label on there.

 

sticker under my hood says- reprogram power control module, also did someting else to my truck can't remember will ask when it goes back for special wheels and tires next week, also my mpg went up 3 mpg and today i took one of the cops for a ride (he wanted to buy a ram next year now he wants mine) my truck really lit the tires up big time its a little scary never thought it would perform this way with a dealer mod, hopefully the tires i am installing next week will bite better lol Randall

 

How many of these can there be? I was thinking of calling the dealer and seeing if it's available.
