Default more trouble codes

for the last month or so I have been having trouble with my 1997 dodge ram.1500, 5.2l, 4x4. the truck is really bucking while driving but not all the time. very hard to keep running at the idle. i had trouble code for crank senor, replaced sensor, i had code for o2 senser, replaced sensor. I still have the problem. how i have a code P0256 Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control "B" Malfunction (Cam/Rotor/Injector).
Can anyone help me? What does it mean and how do i fix it.
thks

Howdy Tosh. Sorry to hear about all the fun you've been having. How many miles do you have on the ram? When you had the trouble codes did you reset the pcm? What were the codes if you remember? last tune up?

hi duranged408:

there is approx 150k miles on the truck. it is my daily driver and in great shape. I tuned the truck up when this all started. I reset the codes, they were for crank and O2 sensor, can't remember the numbers. last night I put the truck in my barn and checked to make such the injectors were firing. they all were. I add injector cleaner all the time on a regulator bases and did so when this started. but I'm thinking I may need to take the injectors out and give them a good cleaning.

it seems to be worse at high RPM just before I shift (manual trans), in all gears. a few days ago I had to go on a 200km service call, for work. I thought i would see if a good run would make or break the problem. Welllll..., the truck ran like a new truck, perfect. Next day, ran like crap again, go fugure???
