I need replacement screws, please tell me which ones...
I just purchased a used 1998 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT. The person who sold it to me had made some audio customizations to it and did not replace all of the screws when he sold it to me. I am seeking assistance in finding out exactly what type of screws I need. I appreciate any assistance you are able to provide me.
I've contacted my local Dodge dealership parts department, and they just tell me that these parts are no longer "serviceable" and they are unable to provide me with any other technical details. Should I expect to be able to purchase these screws from Lowes/Home Depot?
I specifically need the following screws:
[ul][*]2 screws that hold in the driver's side interior door pull handle. I am not referring to the door handle for opening from the inside.[*]2 screws that hold the overhead dome light kit to the ceiling. The original owner busted off the two plastic pegs/posts the hold one end securely in place. I plan to use double side tape to hold up the other end once I have the proper screws.[*]On the floor of the standard cab, automatic transmission RAM 1500, there is a small plastic cover in the middle of floor with two screws securing it to the truck. It appears that the original owner pulled the screws clear through this plastic peice. Now, even the proper screws would not be able to secure this cover back down. Any suggestions as to how to fix this or the part number for the replacement cover?[/ul]

back in 1982 my dad bought a 250 ram club cab. he wanted cab lights. so i went to the dealer that we have used from 1964, i thought that there might be a kit with all the cab lights, but no such thing was listed. so just buy the lights pieace by pieace. i was told that half of parts in each light was just not sold over counter. so he just put after market lights on.for you,my first idea is a salvage yard. in wichita most discount parts houses have a line of parts that are parts that most other people dont carry. its name is, help. things like door handels, specal screws, turn signal cancel mach. i would be more than happy to try tofind the parts you need. i will need more info. email me moe7404@att.net
