I,m from Massachusetts and had my car inspected and the man said i needed tires and a inner tie rod and tires.I got home and looked for the inner tie rod and only seen the outer going into a rubber tube,into the steering knuckle,there,s one on each side.They want 300.00 for the job and front end alg. I like to fix this myself and go get 2 tires for 60.00 and a free front end alg.Can anyone give me some info on were and what to do.I jacked the car up on both sides and shook the wheels sise to side and up and down and doesn,t seem bad to me.Help please.Dave

 

How can i know if my inner tie rod is bad.I jacked the car up and tried to move the tire side to side and up and down,doesn,t seem bad.I got rejected on my 93 dodge spirit 2.5. Help please and tell me what to do and look for.
