[align=left]hi i own a 2000 xj jeep cherokee 4x4.the problems im having range from not starting at times to ,ill be driving on the hiway and all a sudden i wont have any power,the engine is running still it just wont accelerate.if you very lightly press on the accelerater pedel it will accelerate but not well ,it will just cut the power off or backfire.if you press the accelerator pedel to the floor the engin rpm will rise slightly but no acceleratino in speed.another condition im dealing with is it wont idel,its drives fine,accelerates fine but when you come to a stop the idel falls right off almost always staling.all of these conditions are intermint and dont always happen at the same time,its one or the other.i hope someone out here can point me in the right direction,thank you.[/align]

also while driving in cruz control the engine surges,dosent cruz at a steady pace.
