Ifyou have a grey head key they may have damaged antenna coil that reads the rfid chip inthe head of they key. I dont that the trucks had that option though for that year. I dont have access to the info right now.

If its just the lockcylinder a good automotive locksmith may be able to remove it and repplace it and key it to your existing key. Dont just let a someone throw in a replacement that is a different key. If you ever lose the key you will be replacing the ignition again.

try here http://www.clearstar.com/public/pubboard.htm

you can search a few sites or post and see if there is a local locksmith that can help you. Just make sure they know what they are doing and can do the job.
