Starting issue
OK I know it might seem simple for most. I am having an issue on my 2000 Dakota V6. After the truck has been sitting over night or during the day for an extended period of time, say 6 hours, I am having an issue starting. The starter will crank, but does not seem to get any sort of spark. It will start up about 1/20 times I try to turn it over. The RPMs to seem to move somewhat, and if I do give some gass it seems it helps. Anything I should be looking at? Was told it could be my spark plugs and wires, but poss fuel pump. If I do get the truck started then shut off I can restart easily within a hour time span.
