jb weld
three of the four bolts holding the throttle body to the intake manifold snapped inside the manifold. for the past weekend ive been using the remaining bolt and some high heat silicone. its starting to wear. will jb weld work to seal the tb to the manifold (also still using the remaining good bolt) until im back home in 2 weeks or so.
im not looking for ppl to tell me to just fix, i would if i could right now ... just curious as to whether or not the jb will hold me over for now. thakns

it's far easier to get an easy out and drill the bolts and get them out then trying to use JB weld to "fix" it ... that stuff is terrible to get out when you try to fix it right ... IMO drill them and easyout , or get a new manifold at the junkyard I paid $20 for one with TB

a friend told me a store about j b weld. he was helping out on a top
alcohol digger. on sat trying to
qualify the engine block split wide open. they sent someone to town a got 30 packages of j b weld. they stayed up all night j b welding the block back together. on sun they went 3 rounds, before a narrow loss. if you dont beleave me i can give you my friends name.
well the jb weld has held thus far. about halfway home. should be home tomorrow afternoon. if i had the tools i would have fixed it properly. i was just looking for a quick fix so i could get home toactually fix it. i tried the silicone the first time. after about a hundred miles of 75 mph driving it eventually wore off, and i was using high heat silicone.
