Just had the scary experience of my cruise control sticking on, resulted in an awful accident( my baby was damaged!). Anyone else have this experience? Brakes would not respond and engine wanted to speed up. I do not want a repeat of this.

I've seen it before ... bad brake switch the car won't kick off of cruise ... should have still been able to turn it off via on/off switch but if you didn't have time or thought about it, or use the cancel on the stalk
