Default replaced oil pan - noise

I just replaced the oil pan gasket on my 2000 neon and when I start it up there is an awful noise. any suggestions? it has plenty of oil and everything is put back together just like it was when I started. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
dave

took the oil pan back off and could not find any signs of something hitting the oil pan. put it back together and the noise is gone. go figure.

If the pan was shifted a little towards the tranny the converter bolts might have been hitting.
