Open Air intake question

Default Open Air intake question

<FONT face=Arial size=2>Question..I just bought an AirForce One open air intake. There is no where to plug the sensor that was on the original intake. This is creating a hissing sound.</FONT></P>


<FONT face=Arial size=2>How can I fix this?</FONT></P>

Default Open Air intake question



the k/n intake you have to drill a 3/4 hole in it and put a rubber thingie in it</P>


then put the sensor in through it. it might work on yours</P>

It also makes a loud hissing sound that comes and goes only when moving. It is very annoying and my toher truck did not make this noise with the air intake I put on it. I don't know if it is trying to get to much air or what.</P>


My engine light also came on after I installed the air intake.</P>


I just took it off and I am going to try to send it back to truckperformance.com</P>

the reason the check engine light came on is becauce the massair flow sensor is outwhen u put it back in it will shut off
