A damp musty oder is present when hot air is coming thru the front window defroster vent. This had not been a problem until recently. No liquids are ever set on the dash so I know that no large amount of any liquid could have gotten into the system. Does anyone know what might be causing this problem, and what the fix might be?

 

Usually that refers to a mildew type issue with the A/C. Perhaps it could be the same problem only somehow withthe heat...

Everyone else? Thoughts?

unless the odor is coming from......you, and you blame the vents. its a good way out, just like blaming the dogs!
