Default wires

whats a good and safe way to strip existing wires without cutting? i havent cut any wires but just want to know a good way to strip existing wires so i can hook up my remote trunk release

hi luke there is a product out there called tap in splices, that u slide the wire want to tap in to in it. adn then put the wire that u need to connect in to it, and then close it up. it slices through the wiring cover on both the wires and make the cnnection, adn when you remove it there is a very very little wire exposed.
