I have a 2003 Dodge Quadcab 4x4 5.7 Hemi I'm having a problem with the computer I think.
The truck starts and will idle but will not do anything else even when you pump the excellerator it will only idle. There is a light on (actually flashes) in the lower right hand conner that resembles a bolt of lightining. when the iginition is turned on the fuel guage will go all the way to full, sit there for about 30 sec. then there is an alarm and it goes to empty. I thought it may have been the the computer crashed but I unhooked the battery cables for about 5 min. so it could reset but it didn't help. Does anyone have any insight on this problem? please help!!!!!!

 

the lightning bolt means that there is a fuse that is blown more than likely it is the one that controls the electronic peddle and the instrument cluseter, i would start there, the owners manual should tell you what to check if you cannot find the fuse.
