What brands/models of coolant work well with the 5.7L ram v8's? Mine is a 2005 if it matters.

Also, this is my first good size truck. Is it normal to blow through 1/4 to 1/5 a tank of coolant within a month or so with a 5.7L v8 or should i be worried?

you shouldnt be losing any coolant, its a closed system. fire it up and look under the hood and see if you see any of the hoses leaking. do you see any fluid on the ground when its parked in one spot for a while? do you smell something sweet in the air when its running or when you walk by it after its up to temp?
