I have no Idea where to go with this. I have an 89 b-150, I did some welding on the rear suspension and now the van won't start. I disconnected the battery before hand so this wouldn't happen. I've cleaned the termanals and threw a charger on it so I know it's not the battery, it has something to do with the starter. I also checked the relay and that is working fine, all I get is a rapid clicking from under the dash andwhat I'm assuming is the starter but I can't really tell. there's only one of me so I'm having a hard time testing anything. Any ideas?

 

Turn the ignition on and try jumping the starter.
