I have a '98 Dodge Ram truck with a 5.9 gas engine.
The warning chimes and lights are driving me crazy.
Even with a full tank of gas the gas gauge swings wildly
up and down while chiming.
Then all the other gauges (water, oil etc.) start swinging
and chiming while of course lighting up like the
fireworks Grand Finale on the Fourth of July.
It should be noted that all fluid levels are fine and
that other than the "Three Stooges" gauge
chiming routine, the truck runs great!
It would be nice to fix it right but for now does
anybody know how to shut up that chiming?
