Default Oil light on

My wife has a 2006 Pacifica (didn't have time to register in the Chrysler forum) and just had the oil changed by the dealer. They gave us 10 free oil changes when the car was purchased.

The next day the oil light came on (oil level is fine), my wife called the dealer and they said it is most likely the 'oil sensor'. The car is under warranty but they say there is a $100 deductible and the repairwould beabout $100. I've changed O2 sensors before but have not heard of an oil sensor.

Did they do something to cause this code to scam us out of $100? Anyone know of this $100 deductible on Chrysler warranties?

How do you get the codes off of this car? In my '01 Dakota I just turn the key several times and they pop up, it doesn't work in the Pacifica.

Any help would be appreciated.

Code Scanner is needed ... Go to Autozone/Advanced they will get the codes for you for free ...
I thought the Standard warranty there is no deductible but Certified Preowned has a deductible ...
Did you double check the oil??? I've seen them not put in enough oil or leave pllugs/filters loose

I checked the level late last night at it was fine. It is certified pre-owned, so that explains the deductible. I'll take a better look today when she gets home. She also said the idle was noticeably lower as well.
