I have an 02 Ram 1500 5.9L V8. First issue, a few weeks ago the engine started hiccuping/skipping at random. Does it at city driving and/or highway speeds. Second issue, Check Engine Light been on for several months, no symptoms till hiccuping started. CEL check at Autozone says P0106, PCM failure. I read on odbcodes.com that pcm failure has no symptoms, is that true? Does it really need to be replaced? Are 2 issues related? Please help! Thanks.

 

did you get the engine wet @ all? Cus i know 02 ram 1500s are known to have their engines studdor when they get wet. And i dont know much about PCM's but id guess they wernt related due to the timing / appearance of each problem.
