I have a 97 ram 1500 4x4, It had a 318 in it, I found a 360 out of a running 96 model 2500 ram. I installed it in my truck. It had some different connectors for the 360 motor than the 318. TPS, MAP and an intake temp sensor. I also have the pcm for the 360. My problem is that when i start it, it lopes and runs irratic, surges and has hesitation. when i can get it up past 2000 rpm it seems to smooth out and sounds pretty good. It will sputter and die as soon as i crank it with the 360 PCM in it. I need help.......
