ok i got a 98 durango, 360 4x4,slt. guy i got it from sadi fuel pump. i replaced it and the injectors, but i ttry to start it and it starts for 3-4 seconds runs good, then shuts off, and thats as far as it goes. never more than 3-4 seconds. all i have is a ket, no keypad(maybe something to do with it) this is now my only transportation so please help asap

did you try moving the ign switch around (but not off) after it starts. my 01 dakota wont turn the radio on unless move the key around. just my .02

 

Just a wild shot here but on some cars with that built in chip in the key if all you have is a key made at walmart etc and it doesn't have the chip , it will start your car but will die right away ??????

 

It's very likely that you have some dry-rotted vaccum lines and/or a bad EGR valve. You can take care of the EGR to get you by if you unplug the vaccum line going to it and put a screw in that vaccum line.
