the warranty on the drive trane is 100,000 right ,,freind got a dodge with the cummis diesel trans is going out its an auto ,,the brough to dealer they said the trans was not cover under that warr,,,is that true????sorry dont have spell check BTW...

Cummins warrantees the motor to 100,000 miles itself. The rest of the drivetrain must be covered by Dodge. Have him look thru his paperwork and see if it's a Dodge full drivetrain warrantee. If it is, fight it, cause they have to cover it. It will all be in the paperwork he got when he purchased the truck.
