Default by the dashboard lights

alright, '90 dynasty(3.3L V6) with lights on the dashboard that i've never seen. well at least one of them. I can't seem to get the parking brake light to go away- and no the brake is not engaged. The other one is a little wierd, it is the ! symbol in a circle with () around it. Could this be a computer problem. I just recently got the stupid thing to start after a two year park period. i also have this ticking noise that seems to be coming for the rocker arm. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I can't remeber if ther is one or 2 on the dynasty. But it could be the fluid is low. I believe the (!) is your other brake light.

Yes the (!) is the brake light. My bosses Mercades has one of those (!) symbols. Took me a while to figure that one out. I replaced his radio with an aftermarket because I couldn't figure out the sign language on that either. The ticking is usually a lifter that didn't get or isn't getting enough oil. They are hydraulic and need good oil pressure. A lot of oil filters drain back after you shut the car off. A thousand times of starting a car with no oil in the top end of the motor will kill a lifter. Fram and some other filter manufacturers have anti drain down valves or one way valves. These are good.
