I heard though the grapevine that dodge installed a governor on the hemi trans so that when you hammer the gas you don't get the full 345 hp. I also heard that if you pull the right color coded wire off the trans it disables the governor. I don't know which wire. Can anybody help me?

 

What year is the Hemi you are talking about? I think the '03 is the only one that it can be done on.

 

you are correct its called a torque reduction wire,it kills injector on shifts.
