daimler chrysler vehicles are ALL JUNK!!!!!
Nah, I think that would be less than a great idea! [sm=icon_rofl.gif]
When I went down to the Autoshow this year, my buddy (who lives in Novi, the rest of us live up here in the sticks) drove us into the city. He decides to take a shortcut. Told him it's a bad idea. He gets off 94, about 2 blocks later he says "um, I think I made a mistake". My answer was "no ****!". We were in a neighborhood we REALLY didn't want to be in. Then we hear a "shk-chk" behind me as my other buddy chambers a round in his .380. Had to give him crap cause my 9mm was chambered when we left the house in Novi.
Anyway, that was my last trip to the city. Thought you might appreciate that.

The 2.7 is a pos not only for the gummy issues, but the timing chain as well. Current ones are better, but you will never see one in my driveway! Hate to break your heart oc, but a variation of the A604 is still used today(pacifica, minivans). And yes they still have problems with it. What I don't get is, the company that gave us one of the most bulletproof transmissions out there, the 727 can't seem to get a decent front drive trans together.

Owned all kinds of brand new cars..or should I say trucks, Used to lease vans for delivery business. All 3 of the original big 3 meaning Chrysler, Ford, and GM suck at service. They only get paid under warranty by the book time so they only spend that amount of time. Then you get to bring your car back so they can finish the job LOL. No really I have had bad experiences with them all but I will admit Chrysler service at least at the dealership I have been going to is really bad. I believe it's because the dealership is huge. In my experience if you can find one that is in a small town that is not so busy you will get it done right the first time. That has been my trick. Dont let them BS you into believing you have to have it fixed where you bought it. The only truth to that is if you have had work done and its not fixed right another dealership might be reluctant to take on the job for fear of not getting paid for the same warranty issue as the othe dealer has already been paid for, but dont be afraid to go to other dealerships, till you find one you like. I love to buy a car at the big dealerships cuz you can get a better deal, then get it serviced at the smaller shops.. I love to stir the pot. And since Daimler got involved there has been nothing but quality improvements....have a look at the size of the brakes on all the Chryslers now....huge improvement. Fit and finish too even has improved.

This person must not have a life if they go through the trouble of registering to a car forum to make one post about something that really isn't going to change the minds of any people on this particular forum.
