timing belt
hello the first thing I will say is you should replace the water pump while your in there. here you go disconect the battery take off the ac belt and serp belt take off the ac compressor and tentioner take off the crank pulley and ballancer take off the power steerig pump from the metal plate and the two bolts in the block drain coolant take a floor jack and a small board and support the engine at the oil pan take the motor mount off the one on the belt side now take off the big metal plate then take off the two upper timig covers and the lower timing cover now you can see the belt rotate the engine until the two arrows on the cam gears are pointing to the lines upwards and the lines match up on the crank pulley take the dist cap off to mark rotor position take tentioner bolt loose and spring take belt off. note when reinstalling belt make sure no slack is in the front side of the belt. im a dealer technician ive been working on 3.0 liter engines since 1989 l good luck
