Hello all,

Hope someone can help me with this....
1985 Aries 2.2L fuel injected.
When there is no load on the engin (IE in park) the engin runs just fine. Will rev up and down and pur like a kitten...
When there IS a load on the engin I can bring it up to speed but only VERY gradually. Any attempt to press on the pedal a little harder and the engin instantly starts to bog out and lag badly enough to hold the speed around 40KPH. If I let off and continue gradually it's just fine again.

Checked all fluids and everything is good on that end, filters are all good, regualr tunups and maintenance.
Also this problem started instantly. It didn't gradually work up.
My HUNCHES are dead oxygen sensor, or dead CPU...
I don't think dirty plugs or injectors would be the problem. POSSIBLY distributer cap but that would lead me to believe it could be spurratic or only the odd choke and buck. This is all cylinders lagging. So it seems like a problem of not enough air intake, or not enough gas intake (or the mix between the two)

Anyone had problems similar? or any ideas?

 

I would run some injector cleaner through the car.

 

Check for plugged converter or other exhaust part. Check air intake tube, seen little critters fill them full of all kinds of things.

 

I pulled these codes from the CPU of the car....

Anyone know what they mean? Better yet has anyone here found an online listing of these things? I've looked and looked and can't find squat.
