How do you know when the banks in the tranny need adjusted? I just bought a Durango about 6 months ago and put about 8000 miles on it so far. I just got a camper and want to know if there is a way to tell if they need adjusted.

If you bought it used I would go ahead and have it serviced.
Especially if you are towing.

If you bought it new just follow the recommended intervals or do it yearly.

A friend of mine even changes all the fluids on his "new-used" cars.
Gear oil, brake fluid, oil, and transmission fluid ect.

 

I am not sure on the specs, but I would say every 20,000 miles? or every year or 2 depending on milage.
